Fun Fall Four Day Weekend!

Yeah! Pictures are making a comeback!- Here is the saga:
-Lost memory card for camera found in spare bedroom weekend before last
-Lost battery charger found in box in basement on Saturday
-Lost black thing that the camera sits in to be hooked up to the computer found yesterday under the couch
Back in business!

On Friday I took the day off because Lily had no school. We went to Potomac Mills where I bought Lily a couple of fall outfits for a great deal at H&M. I was feeling quite generous, so I let Lily and Sophie pick out something from Claire's. Lily was set on a pair of dangly heart clip on earrings. Sophie, of course, followed suit and decided on a pair of dangly cupcake earrings. Of course, after 15 minutes of wearing them, their ears were bright red and they cried and whined as I pried them off ever so gently- 10 bucks down the drain- oh well! (No pics yet)

On Saturday, after Lily's gymnastics class, we went to visit Lily's friend Sophie back at the condo community. They were so happy to see each other again- what a great time they had(and little Sophie did too)! (still no pics- bah!)
Later, back at home after the battery charger was found, I finally got to take a picture of my beautiful girls after 1.5 long months!!!:

(We love our nightgowns- thank you Grammy!)

On Sunday, we went to cousin Paige's 4th birthday party at Burke Lake park. Perfect weather for a train ride and a carousel ride:) Against my better judgment I let Lily wear her earrings to the party. She had so much fun that she forgot about them until we were back in the car; more crying, whining, and mommy prying them off her ears ever so gently- never again! Aside from that, Paige had a wonderful party and all had a great time:

On Monday, Will finished building the swing set that Grandpa Bill so lovingly bought for us- Thank you Grandpa Bill!! It took a total of 20 hours to build all together, including one day with 3 laborers (Thanks Cecelia and Dan!). Well, it was worth it because it looks great and the kids LOVE IT! Another bonus is that the girls can ride on the glider together, so I don't even have to push Sophie:) Here's to happy swinging!
