Winter break 2011

Well, the Jeeps did not disappoint! Check out the girls driving their new set of wheels! Really glad that the batteries only last 1-3 hours at a time before needing to be recharged for 12-14 hours;)

I was brave this winter break and took the girls ice skating by myself- I had visions of 2 girls hanging onto me for dear life and many tears! Well, I was sort of pleasantly surprised. Yes, they both hung onto the ledge of the wall most of the time and, yes, Lily did cry a bit because she was expecting to be able to do her ballet moves on the ice and was bitterly disappointed, but it could have been much worse! They did both let go of the wall for a few moments here and there, which I've captured on video for your viewing pleasure:)

Actually, I was surprised at how well Sophie did considering she is only 3. At least, after she got over the fear of falling and breaking through the ice!- took a lot of convincing on my part:) Sweet, silly girl!

Christmas 2011!

What fun we've had this Christmas season. Take a look at the pictures of the festivities!

Christmas Program(Sophie got to be in it this year, too!):

Lily at her Holiday Showcase:

Cookie baking:

(I'm in awe of her big toe- I mean, look at that dexterity!)

Christmas Eve with Grandma and Grandpa Gerry:

(The reason for the scarf around her head/ears was because she didn't want to hear the sound of the buzzer on the game we were playing:) )

Christmas morning (Santa brought Jeeps!):
(the big presents to the side of the jeeps are from Grandpa Bill, not Santa:) )

Christmas day with Grammy and Beebop:

Merry Christmas!!

Lily and Sophie's day with Daddy. . .

Well, here's what happens when daddy's in charge while mommy is at work:

Sophie will come home with bangs!

and Lily will come home with pierced ears!
(Alright, I exaggerated a bit for dramatic affect- Will did actually ask me about the earrings beforehand. . . but the bangs were a surprise!)
