Winter break 2011

Well, the Jeeps did not disappoint! Check out the girls driving their new set of wheels! Really glad that the batteries only last 1-3 hours at a time before needing to be recharged for 12-14 hours;)

I was brave this winter break and took the girls ice skating by myself- I had visions of 2 girls hanging onto me for dear life and many tears! Well, I was sort of pleasantly surprised. Yes, they both hung onto the ledge of the wall most of the time and, yes, Lily did cry a bit because she was expecting to be able to do her ballet moves on the ice and was bitterly disappointed, but it could have been much worse! They did both let go of the wall for a few moments here and there, which I've captured on video for your viewing pleasure:)

Actually, I was surprised at how well Sophie did considering she is only 3. At least, after she got over the fear of falling and breaking through the ice!- took a lot of convincing on my part:) Sweet, silly girl!
