When she woke up on her birthday the next day, Lily got a very special surprise- a beautiful new bike (complete with training wheels of course)! The first few trials were a bit scary, but after a few circles around our complex she got the hang of steering, pedaling and stopping with daddy right by her side. I will video this soon:)
Then, finally, in the afternoon Lily had her long awaited birthday party at kids n motion! In addition to her loving family, some of her buddies from school came too, which Lily was so excited about. The helpers at kids n motion made Lily feel so special(ie-she got to be line leader each time, sat in a special blow up chair to be sung to, and got to pick out the piece of cake she liked best). She really had a wonderful time at her party. In fact, she said she would like to have her party at kids n motion again next year- we'll see;)

Back at home, the fun was not over. Lily got to open her presents!!!!!- the part she had really been waiting for. Four hours later, when she finished opening her presents (hehe just kidding)she got right to bed and slept very, very well!*I apologize for not getting many pics of Lily's grandparents, aunts, uncles or her daddy at the party! I wish these things would occur to me before it becomes too late-I will do better next time!
