Not only have we been enjoying our new home, but we've had a lot of fun in our new community too!
Because we live in the mason neck region of Lorton, we live close to the Potomac river and luckily have access to this cute little beach in our neighborhood. Lily and Sophie absolutely love spending time here, although they could live without the bugs!
We've also gotten out to Pirate's cove at Pohick regional park a few times, which is just minutes away. While, this isn't exactly what I would call a water park, it is a very cool pool nonetheless and a whole lotta fun:)
and I've finally gotten to buy the girls a little inflatable pool to play in in the backyard. Brings back fun summer memories!

How wonderful that they have an endless supply of swimming holes!

ReplyDeleteAnother great thing is that there are never any Sea Nettles at our part of the beach. I can't remember why but one of our neighbors said so?
